Office for Academic Professional Development Advisory Committee

The OPAD Advisory Committee provides guidance, advice, and oversight on the activities, initiatives, and strategic direction of the Office for Academic Professional Development (OPAD).

Terms of reference

The OPAD Advisory Committee:

  1. provides advice on setting current and future strategic directions and priorities for OPAD
  2. monitors the development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives undertaken by OPAD
  3. identifies emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches in academic development and recommends strategies for their integration into OPAD activities
  4. proposes ways to communicate and connect academics more effectively with OPAD programmes and activities, and
  5. recommends professional development initiatives involving academics and other categories of staff to support the organisational development of UM.

Term of Appointment:
From 18 April 2024 to 31 December 2025
