Citizenship in the Arab World

Citizenship in the Arab World, a project, in which we attempt to explore ways in which nationality and belonging informs political practice across Middle Eastern states such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Morocco, and Kuwait. Used as a transversal concept, cutting across analytical fields from constitutions, borders, migration, religion, patronage, and state building, citizenship offers an interdisciplinary analysis that places people’s concerns and their activism at its core.
