As students in the MA in Film Studies, you also get to plan and shoot your own short film in all its stages, from the script to the screen, in collaboration with your peers and under the mentorship of internationally acclaimed scriptwriters and filmmakers.

You can avail yourself of the tax rebate as this programme is eligible for rebates under the Get Qualified Scheme.

If you are not in possession of a first degree you still have the opportunity to apply as your eligibility will be considered under the University's Recognition of Prior Learning. In this case, candidates will be called for an interview and will be assessed on the basis of their professional qualifications or skills (i.e. a portfolio) closely related to the study of film: published or unpublished film reviews and articles, films, videos, photographs, drawings, illustrations, storyboards, comic-book art, digital images, a good background in storytelling and creative writing.
