Blended Intensive Programme – Education for Sustainable Development in Coastal Communities

This is a collaborative program between Nord University, the University of Gdansk and the University of Malta. The aim of the project is to offer European students a blended intensive mobility program that allows them to collaborate on addressing real-world problems. The program is a combination of online education as well as a unique on-site component in coastal Norway.

The project focuses on principles of education for sustainable development and environmental education in response to the increasing worldwide concern on sustainable development in context of the sustainable development goals. Through innovative forms of learning and teaching, including the use of online cooperation, participants will be able to study real-world sustainability challenges, policies and practices affecting coastal communities, also in cooperation with local stakeholders
