The goal of the project Teacher Education for Sustainability (TEDS) was to contribute to teacher education for sustainability (EduS) in different European countries. This was done by promoting professional knowledge about EduS both in theory and practice in contexts of in-service teacher education. The TEDS project aimed to equip European educators with the knowledge and necessary tools in order to promote education for sustainability in different context of practice. This was done through the development of a framework of reference for designing teacher education programmes that emphasizes the importance of collaboration and deems as fundamental the active participation of teachers and their educators in the processes related to the acquisition of skills relating to EduS.
