The Master’s programme in archaeological practice is designed to provide you with advanced practice training based on rigorous theory in archaeology. The M.A. is tailored to make extensive use of archaeological sites and monuments in Malta, one of the richest archaeological landscapes in the Mediterranean. You will be able to address, formulate, and research archaeological problems as well as be trained to tackle and resolve issues involving archaeological resources at risk. This programme gears you towards professional relevance in the field—to prepare professional reports, investigate sites, and to consider legislation and regulations when consulting stakeholders. This M.A. includes a mandatory four-week summer placement.
