DESCRIPTION Emphasizes several models and strategies for critical thinking within a leadership context. Additional topics include: digital literacy tools; library research; and written communication.

Study-unit Aims:

• Students will learn critical thinking models and strategies;
• Students will apply critical thinking tools and techniques to address complicated issues;
• Students will focus on using research and resources to develop, analyze, evaluate, and communicate their complex ideas.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon course completion, students will be able to:

1. Apply critical thinking concepts within a leadership context;
2. Recall different techniques and models for critical thinking;
3. Develop, analyze, evaluate, and communicate to a reasonable outcome given a case study or current event using appropriate tools.
