DESCRIPTION | Objectives: Students will be provided opportunities to learn both the principles and the skills necessary to manage and care for pigs and rabbits according to industry standards. Contents: The study-unit deals with the production and economics of pig and rabbit farming. Topics covered include: planning, establishing and managing enterprises; production-economic evaluation of reproduction, growth and carcass merit.
