DESCRIPTION The main aim of this seminar is for students to conduct independent, albeit supervised, literature review in the area of research related to their dissertation/project. The topic will be approved by the Panel of Supervision. The student will be required to submit an abstract on an oral presentation on the research work, to the Supervisor. The student will make an oral presentation, on the research work, to an audience generally consisting of members of the Faculty and students, as well as answer any questions put by the audience.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:
By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

(i) review a topic from contemporary literature on a relevant topic.

2. Skills:
By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

(i) communicate visually the review output or research findings in a discussion forum;
(ii) communicate orally the review output or research findings in a discussion forum.
