DESCRIPTION | The ability to withstand pressure, bounce back from setbacks and persevere through challenges are critical strengths in navigating what is often described as a long and difficult journey of PhD studies. This workshop will enable participants to develop these strengths by understanding the concepts of ‘resilience’ and ‘grit’. It will also provide practical tools for building resources and implementing strategies for mastering these two important aspects of wellbeing and success. Learning Outcomes: - Understand the concepts of resilience and grit; - Describe the relationship between the two concepts; - Gain awareness of personal challenges and strengths in relation to grit and resilience; - Learn practical tools and effective strategies for developing resilience and grit. |
