DESCRIPTION | Business finance is often the most challenging aspect of business for those new to enterprise. This module will introduce students to the main forms of financial documentation including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts and Cash Flow Forecasts. Students will be taught how to raise the right form of business finance according to business need and against the business plan. Emphasis will be placed on accurate cash flow forecasting as a pre-requisite for growth funding. Students will gain a thorough understanding of the main ways in which business finances are presented, how businesses are valued and how and when to raise funding for growth via debt or equity finance.
