DESCRIPTION | The unit delves into the symbolic character of the liturgical celebration, with reference to the biblical, anthropological and liturgical meaning of certain symbols and their application to certain categories of the faithful. The seven basic sacramental rites are studied insofar as they are pastoral expressions of the sacramental action of Christ in, and through, the Church. They serve to enrich the pastoral action of the community of Christ’s faithful.
