DESCRIPTION Success in criminal investigation depends on the initial decisions and actions taken by the first officers on the scene of crime. At the end of the course students are expected to possess knowledge of forensic science and its implications, what course of action should be taken by the on scene of crime officers and what problems face officers when handling suspects and evidence. These units will also address issues related to the investigation and the problems encountered in investigating crimes. The lectures will be delivered both from a theoretical and practical point of view.
