DESCRIPTION | A laboratory-based research project on an approved subject related to Medical Laboratory Science. The aim of this research project is to enable the student to focus on an area of professional interest and examine this selected area in depth. The objectives of the research project are to allow the student to: - formulate a hypothesis and design an experimental protocol to test it. - learn data processing and how to use adequate statistical methods to handle the data - learn how to apply good laboratory practice The research project is a component of the synoptic examination and a pass grade is required for successful completion of the course. |
