DESCRIPTION | A written work on a topic proposed by the student. This is usually related to the candidate’s own area of specialization. In Musicology, for example, it is an extended project written on approved historical subject; in Composition it is either a portfolio of compositions or one major work plus a document in the form of a commentary while in Performance, it is a public performance plus a document in the form of analytical programme notes. | ||||||||
