DESCRIPTION The aim of this study-unit is to give an integral biblical perspective as regards the idea of the personification of evil in the whole context of revelation and how this was subsequently interpreted by the Church in its theological debates and pastoral praxis vis-a`-vis phenomena such as satanism, spiritism, belief in spells, magic practices etc. This will serve as the basis for subsequesnt debate as regards the relevance of the specific Ministry of Exorcism in the Christian Churches, with special reference to the Catholic Church.
