The Malta Association of Dental Students (MADS), a senate-recognised association, represents the dental surgery students studying at the Faculty of Dental Surgery of UM.

This non-profit association is aimed at promoting the study of dentistry in Malta and protecting the interest of all local dental students. The Association is affiliated with the International Association of Dental Students (I.A.D.S).  

Objectives of MADS include:

• promoting student exchanges
• playing an active role in dental education and public health promotion
• organising social, sporting, educational and cultural activities.
