Background of the Conference

International Forum for Studies in Society and Religion (IFSSR) had organized in collaboration with many reputed national and International organizations several International conferences over the years on relevant societal issues. Next year, in the month of January, IFSSR is planning to organize an International conference in which world experts on the philosophy and practice of Grundtvig, Tagore and Freire, Citizenship Education, Democracy, Global Folk High School Movement, etc will congregate and deliberate. The principal aim of this conference is to enlighten the people of India especially the youths about the great strides made by the international community in the field of education and enlightenment and to try to seek implementation of some of these epochmaking endeavours in India. Kolkata, the cultural capital of India would like to act as the harbinger of this initiative.

Abstract not exceeding 300 words should be submitted to the Convenor with copy to Secretary and Jt. Secretary.
Full Paper not exceeding 2000 words should be submitted to the above-referred persons within the stipulated dates.
Proceedings of the Conference will be published by 30 September, 2024.

Registration Fee: 200 Euro or 215 USD (for participants from OECD countries) 2000 INR ( For contributors from the developing countries). 1500 INR ( for Students / participants from the Developing Countries).
