1. The Department of Education Studies requires the services of a Research Support Assistant and/or Research Support Officer II.
2. The ideal candidates must have a diploma or degree or Masters in marketing, administration, translation and/or terminology. The candidates should also have considerable experience in educational administration and research activities such as data preparation, data transfer, literature search, and literature review and editing.
3. This post/s will be for a period from 28th October 2024 until 31st December 2024. The Research Support Assistant and/or Research Support Officer II will be remunerated at the rate appropriate to their qualifications:
Research Support Assistant – €8.34 (expected to work up to a maximum of 130 hours)
Research Support Officer II - €13.86 (expected to work up to a maximum of 79 hours)
4. The selected candidate/s must be living in Malta for the period of employment.

1. The following is a list of tasks that the appointee may be required to do:
- Promotion of the research study;
- Data collection, preparation and transfer;
- Literature search and review;
- Other administrative duties related to empirical research studies.
2. The appointee is expected to work:
a. on a part-time basis; and
b. at such places and during such hours as may be determined by the University authorities.
3. The selection procedure will involve:
a. scrutiny of qualifications and experience claimed and supported by testimonials and/or certificates (copies to be included with the application);
b. short-listing; and
c. an interview and / or extended interview.
4. The appointment will be subject to a probationary period, and to the provisions of the Statutes, Regulations and Bye-Laws of the University which are now or which may hereafter be in force.
