Signal, Image and Motion Analysis Laboratory

The Signal, Image and Motion Analysis Laboratory was set up in February 2024. The facilities of this laboratory include:

  • ARCANE VR CAVE: An immersive projection-based virtual reality (VR) CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment). The four-sided CAVE has 4 laser projectors and 4 Opti Track cameras for motion capture and tracking of individuals in an environment enclosed by three walls and a floor.
  • Microsoft HoloLens 2: The Microsoft HoloLens 2 is a fully self-contained holographic computer which can be used to combine a simulated/virtual environment with the real word (mixed reality).
  • GPU cluster: Supermicro SuperServer 740GP-TNRT with four NVIDA Quadro RTXA5000/active 24GB GDDR6 PCIe.
