Luca is the Chief Risk Officer and a Board member of HEKA Funds Sicav. He was a co-founder of Abraxas Capital Management in 2002 and actively participated in the launch of the first Abraxas fund in 2003. Prior to Abraxas, Luca was the Global Head of Risk Management in the Debt Division of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DRKW) in London. Earlier in his career, he was in Proprietary Credit Trading and Sovereign Bond Arbitrage at Bankers Trust in New York and London for eight years. He has had other engagements in risk consulting and Private Equity. Luca is the author of The Dark Side of Risk Management (FT-Prentice Hall, October 2004). He was awarded an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University in 1988. He graduated Summa cum laude in Economics at LUISS in Rome (1984).

Fabio established Abraxas Capital Management in 2002 and today runs the crypto market neutral strategy and is responsible for business development. He is a member of the Board and of the Investment Committee of Heka Funds Sicav plc. Before founding Abraxas, Fabio was Head of Strategic Proprietary Trading at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DRKW) in London for four years, prior to which he spent another four years trading options and derivatives at UBS and Merril Lynch swap and derivatives desk in London. Fabio graduated summa cum laude in Economics at Bocconi University, Milan in 1994.

Manuele began his investment career in 2000, spending the majority of his time since working on quantitative portfolio management for proprietary desks at specialist investment houses in Europe. With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering specialising in Bioengineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, he worked on research projects at the Computer Science Institute in Berkeley and spent more than eight years studying and conducting biomedical research using applied machine learning. Since his career in financial data kicked off, he has been a visiting lecturer in Risk Management at the University of Malta within the Faculty of Banking and Finance, and has held the posts of FX senior trader, AIF portfolio manager, and investment committee member in regulated entities in Malta, the UK, and Switzerland.

Prof. Joshua Ellul is Director of the Centre for Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Malta. The Centre for DLT developed and runs a world-first multidisciplinary Masters in Blockchain and DLT which takes in students having backgrounds in computer science, law, finance and economics. His research interests span across technological advancements across the blockchain/dApp stack, to techno-regulatory issues of such emerging technologies.
