Our Office is responsible for the entire staff recruitment process, ranging from academics, administrative, technical and industrial staff, employees engaged in projects and visiting teaching staff.
Our team plays a key role in the development of employees through a wide range of training and development initiatives, the provision of work resources and continuous professional development funds and the possibility to avail of scholarship funds for academic courses.
Our goal is to help strengthen individual and organisational performance through progressive human resource policies and targeted career and organisational development initiatives that support the University’s mission.
Our team also ensures that UM works constructively with the unions, that represent its employees, in the negotiation of collective agreements and complies with employment-related laws, regulations and policies as a higher education institution and as an employer.
