  • What is Turing Tumble?
Turing Tumble is a marble-powered computer: marbles drop through a sequence of configurable plastic pieces until they reach the bottom of the board. This process modifies the positions of the plastic pieces on the board and also forms a pattern of blue and red marbles in the bottom tray.

Visit this website to learn more about Turing Tumble and this website to use the simulator.
  • What will the competition involve?
The competition will involve a series of rounds during which competitors are given a challenge, i.e. a pattern of blue and red marbles that should appear at the end of their computer’s execution. The competitors are provided with a board to try to come up with a solution in a limited amount of time.
