Follow the underlying instructions to check the Panopto recordings associated with study-units on the VLE. If you teach on study-units that involve other lecturers, the study-unit folder may show recordings made by the other lecturers. It is strongly recommended that you coordinate with the other lecturers about these recordings.
To check the recordings stored in Panopto:

You will be able to copy the past year's recordings to the appropriate Panopto study-unit folder for the upcoming academic year. You may refer to the Copying and moving recordings [PDF] quick guide for step-by-step instructions.
You will receive a notification when the VLE areas of the upcoming academic year are available.

Yes. The retention period applies to all media files on Panopto. If you would like to re-use these files with future student cohorts refer to FAQ 2.
You will receive an email in the first week of September of every year reminding you about the Panopto retention policy of videos in study-unit folders. However, you will not receive any notifications for videos in the Panopto personal folder and the Sandbox folder that are due for deletion.
We strongly recommend that you check if you have any recordings in your Panopto personal folder and Sandbox folder (refer to FAQ 4 and FAQ 5).
