Notice – Semester 1 Submission of Assignments 2024/5

With regard to submission of assignments for Semester 1 2024/5, kindly note that footnotes (which will be included in the word count) should be used for citation purposes only and not to supplement the text.   

The front page (with name and title, etc.), summary, table of contents and references (bibliography) are not to be included in the word count.

Text exceeding the word limit will not be read. Furthermore, the University of Malta crest should not be used.

Kindly note that assignments (in PDF format) are to be submitted on VLE (the final copy) by not later than Monday 13th January 2025 (or by any submission date indicated by the lecturer PRIOR to the 13th) by not later than 23:59hrs.

Students may upload their draft and final version (in PDF format) as many times as required in both containers, provided that uploading is carried out prior to the submission due date.

It is important to include the Declaration of Authorship as the second page of the assignment which may be downloaded from the Faculty of Laws website.

No extension will be granted beyond the due date unless a valid justification (of an unpredictable and/or non-academic nature) be submitted to the Dean PRIOR to the submission deadline.

Furthermore, no wrong uploaded assignment will be replaced for examination purposes and a 0F will be awarded. A non-submission will also be awarded a 0F.
