| Abstract: | The marriage records in the Public Registry in Gozo have been used to count the. frequency of surnames. Children with poliomyelitis and their controls from the same villages have been traced to their great grand-parents. These records have been used to trace migration to and from the larger island of Malta and the extent of consanguinity in each village. |
