| Abstract: | This article examines the origins of the feast of St. Gregory and how its practices changed along the centuries. It highlights the feast’s popularity during the 15th and 16th century despite the hardships that the Maltese battled through as a result of the Tunisian attack and the subsequent plague. It concludes with a timetable of the activities carried out in celebration of the feast of St. Gregory. |
