Abstract: | Son of Francesco Dimech and Sinforosa Pace, Vincenzo Dimech was born on the 29th of June, 1768 and was baptised a day later by priest Vincenzo Sinatra. He inherited his father’s passion for sculpture and went on to continue his studies in Naples. This experience proved to be fundamental for his future artwork and popularity as an artist. |
