| Abstract: | Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate and assess the local tax system in light of attracting foreign direct investment to Malta. This dissertation will assess the potential impact of tax proposals by the EU. It also aims to appraise the drivers of change for Malta from an EU tax perspective. |
