Abstract: The aim of this study was to explore the experience of parents of teenage mothers. This study aims to describe the challenges faced by these grandparents and understand how they have adjusted to this phenomena. A phenomenological approach has been employed to gather descriptive data about these grandparents‟ personal experience. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 3 sets of grandparents recruited through criterion sampling. An inductive approach was adopted to analyze the participants‟ interview transcripts. Results have shown that despite the grandparents‟ initial reactions of shock and anger, they still supported their daughter throughout. Findings have illustrated the challenges the grandparents faced and accommodations they have done to adjust to their daughter‟s pregnancy.
