Abstract: | The aim of this study was to identify female perspective with regards to how women view the status of men in the ever-changing realities of the Maltese family today. This study also tried to elicit from the female respondents of the questionnaire whether they feel that they are on an equal footing with their husbands, irrespective of whether their husbands are employed outside the home. The results obtained from this study indicate that most women have achieved a more egalitarian level as compared with their husbands, within the Maltese family. On the other hand the study has shown that most women are willing to change and adapt to changing family circumstances and they are willing to share these with their husbands |
