Abstract: | This study was aimed at identifying the male's perspectives and how most men view women's status in today's ever-changing realities of the Maltese family. The study also tried to elicit from the male respondents whether they have a disposition to change and share in the duties and responsibilities of their family on a more equal footing with their wives, irrespective of whether their wives are employed outside the home or not. The results obtained from this study show that most women have achieved a more egalitarian level with their husbands and within the Maltese family. On the other hand, the study has showed that most men have a willingness to change and to adapt to the changing circumstances of their family and to share with their Wives. |
