Abstract: Palazzo de La Salle is one of several palatial residences situated at the lower end of what is now Republic Street in Valleta, Malta. It was the residence of various Knights of the Order of St John for over 200 yers, including the Knights Fra Stefano Lomellini and Fra Guillaume de La Salle, from whom Palzzao de La Salle recived its current name. Since 1923, the palace has been the home of the Malta Society of Arts and is host to various educational programmes, exhibitions and other cultural events.
