Abstract: The aim of these projects is to supplement information about French civilisation. We would like to present the projects to pupils in Forms V and VI in Secondary Schools, in a motivating manner. Since pupils studying French are to a method based in part on visual support, they would be very receptive to a work which makes maximum use of the image. This is why we have chosen the slide as the principal means illustration. The slides in each project form a sequence which can be explained over a number of weeks. One can show from four to six slides in one lesson per week. After the teacher has the text meant for him, he will show the slides, basing his commentary on the text written for the pupils. This will be followed by a number of questions to verify whether the pupils have understood the explanation given.
