| Abstract: | This report, which is to be viewed in conjunction with the latest reports on the plausibility of the macro and fiscal projections, presents a high level assessment of the Draft Budgetary Plan (DBP) for 2016. The report focuses predominantly on the conduct of fiscal policy in high level terms, in particular on the extent to which the current and planned conduct of fiscal policy can be considered as sound, and in line with Malta’s international obligations in the context of a prudent and sustainable administration of public finances. |
