Abstract: I am tempted to let Trevor Borg’s work speak for itself, but the work of art never announces itself directly, no matter how hard it tries. In this way, it resembles all other things. I am aware that my difficult task here is to write about Borg’s work to enable this documentation to serve as a memory in its absence. I shall attempt to write in its name. I will signal towards it in order to bring it to light, but without ever bringing it into direct sight. I shall attempt to express the impossible. It is the only thing that I can do, and the only thing possible given the circumstances.
