| Abstract: | This is an account of the history, conservation and restoration treatments carried out on the Martyrdom of St Barbara, titular painting of the Church of St Barbara in Kalkara, painted by Agostino Masuccio (c.1691-1758) in 1739. This conservation and restoration project was carried out between February 2011 and September 2011 at PrevArti Laboratory within the Art Conservation Centre. |
