Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyse whether the right to a quality and inclusive education of children with learning disabilities was protected with the introduction of the Covid-19 Education Protocols. Due to the rapid spread of Covid-19, State leaders had to find ways to control the virus and limit its spread. The closure of businesses and schools was the method adopted in most countries. The closure of schools meant that education was now offered online through programmes such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This study delved into the impact of such a sudden change on educators and LSEs, along with its effect on children with learning disabilities, who were now faced with a situation whereby they were not accompanied by their LSE. The study is divided into three main parts; the first being an introductory chapter and the Literature Review which provides a legal background on the topics discussed by the researcher. The second part consists in the design and methodology that the researcher opted for to collect the data required to answer the question posed in the title of the study. Finally, the last part delves into and analyses the data collected from the methodology used, along with a concluding chapter which lists the recommendations which derive from the data collected.
