Abstract: There exist few reliable records on which to base a sensible analysis of nutritional habits in Medieval Malti, so that one has to rely mostly on early modern documentation in Eating & Fasting order to gain a clear picture of the eating habits of the Maltese islanders. However, indirect insights are inferred from sporadic references to the economic activities of the island.
