The Ġuże' Cassar Pullicino bequest : a listing of his papers, including correspondence, newspaper cuttings, pamphlets and other miscellanea

Abstract

This listing describes a large collection of papers formerly belonging to the writer and folklorist Ġużè Cassar Pullicino, donated to the UM Library by his son Louis. This collection consists of personal and work-related correspondence, newspaper cuttings, articles, photos, and pamphlets about folklore, oral history, Maltese language and culture, traditions and historical events. Cassar Pullicino dedicated his life to studying these fields, and many of his findings were published in periodicals, books and conference proceedings both locally and abroad. This collection is available for consultation at the Archives and Rare books department.
