Abstract: Like every institution, the Mdina Carmelite Priory has its own archives: the Archivum Conventus Carmelitarum Notabilis (ACCN). These archives ecclesiastical in nature and genre, contain records starting from the fifteenth century. With some exceptions, one can state that the ACCN is a complete collection marking the historical vicissitudes of the Priory. The ACCN is divided into two main divisions, the 'Historical' and the 'Current'. ACCN is a constant source of research for both local and foreign scholars, as well as students.
