dc.description.abstract | This study aims to understand whether managers share a correlation between mindset and personality. The possible correlation can show valuable information for employee performance, organisational behaviour and human resources management. This study will discuss implicit theories and how they could help us better understand the human perspective of business. This research used a deductive approach and was conducted using quantitative analysis with non-probability sampling. The question involves measuring personality and mindset and reviewing whether there is any correlation. The findings included that most managers share a growth mindset, and the most significant personality type they share in common is neuroticism (emotional stability). This research had its limitations regarding sample size and the possibility of a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, current research does not provide an understanding of the growth mindset, specifically of managers, in relation to their personality type. This study aims to comprehensively understand the fundamental variables and how this can give more perspicuity regarding managers. | en_GB |
