Abstract: Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) patients with a high risk of stroke are recommended to receive oral anticoagulation (OAC) with warfarin. Poor levels of understanding and acceptance of AF and OAC therapy can impact on OAC control: theoretically informed educational interventions may improve patients’ OAC control.
