Blogging has been around since 1994 or arguably even earlier, and yet literature on the subject is sparse, primarily dominated by instruction manuals for social media marketing and money-making. Notable exceptions are Jodi Dean’s Blog Theory (2010), Jill Walker Rettberg’s Blogging (2008), Geert Lovink’s Zero Comments (2007), Michael Keren’s Blogosphere (2006) and a book of essays edited by Mark Tremayne (2006). Scott Rosenberg’s book does not claim to be a scholarly work, but is nevertheless likely to become an essential introductory text for artists and academics interested in blogging.en_GB
