Abstract:	Mulej, Missier Qaddis, agħtina d-dawl tiegħek biex bħal Salamun nagħrfu nitolbuk id-don tad-dehen: "Agħti, għalhekk, lill-qaddej tiegħek moħħ ħafif biex jifhem. biex jista' jmexxi l-poplu tiegħek, u jagħraf it-tajjeb mill-ħażin" (1 S1 3,9). Dan id-don nuzawh aħna u nidħlu fil-fond tal-veritajiet tal-fidi fir-riflessjoni tagħna. Agħtina d-dehen, waqt li 'nħabbru 'dak li għajn qatt ma rat u widna qatt ma semgħet', u dak Ii qatt ma tnissel f' qalb il-bniedem... Alla rrivelahulna permezz ta' l-Ispirtu; għax l-Ispirtu jgħarbel kollox, sa fil-qiegħ ta' Alla ... Hadd ma jagħraf dak li hemm f' Alla ħlief l-Ispirtu ta' Alla" (1 Kor 2,9-11).
Description:	The brief article focuses on one of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit - the gift of understanding. The article is the second in a series on the gifts of the Holy Spirit during 1998, the year dedicated to the Holy Spirit, during the preparation for the great Jubilee of the year 2000. By means of references to Scripture, to liturgical texts and the magisterium of the Catholic Church, the author presents an outline on the specificity of this gift and its spiritual and ecclesial implications in the life of the faithful.
