Abstract: | The Order of the Knights of St. John has changed during the course of six centuries from a military as well as a medical Order into a sovereign, effectual health agency of world-wide scope. Its interests encompass every field of medicine and human welfare; its care is always generous, almost always given free and is rendered solely pro utilitate hominum. A survey of the past history of this selfless Order is given in Clinical Pediatrics 6: 728, 1967. Here is a brief summary of current activities. |
