This body of work challenges female gender stereotyping through playing cards. A card game would be the final medium chosen for this project. The project begins by exploring and identifying the situations that women have reported about experiencing discrimination, abuse, unequal treatment and behaviour in different environments. Gender inequality occurs in a great number of aspects in everyone’s life (Batar, 2021), and so the project incorporates the analysis of stereotypes in both real-life situations and games. This research becomes vital in setting out to devise a new concept for a game, with the support of design and thinking techniques for the methodology.en_GB
