dc.description.abstractImwieled Ħad-Dingli nhar it-Tnejn 12 ta' Ottubru 1874, Dun Pawl Azzopardi kien wild Francis u Rosa Abela. Meta laħaq saċerdot, hu kien ġie mibgħut f'raħal twelidu, bil-għan li jkun ta' għajnuna għall-Kappillan ta' dak iż-żmien. Intant fl-1913, Dun Pawl Azzopardi nħatar bħala Kappillan tal-Parroċċa ta' Ħad-Dingli. Għalkemm f'dan iż-żrnien in-nies tar-raħal kienu fqar ħafna u b'konsegwenza t'hekk il-Kappillan Azzopardi ma setax iwettaq dak kollu li xtaq, hu xorta waħda għamel ħafna xogħlijiet utli bħall-bini tad-Domus, il-ħolqien ta' soċjetà għaż-żgħażagħ u t-twaqqif ta' orkestra u teatrin. Bħala wild l-istess raħal, Dun Pawl kellu ħafna għal qalbu l-festa titulari f' ġieħ Marija Mtellgħa s-Sema.en_GB
