dc.description.abstractPlaying digital games is an important leisure activity for a large number of us. Players tend to play for hours on end, at times losing track of time. Digital games range from simple two dimensional arcade games to virtual reality three-dimensional (3-D) multi user role playing games. The human – digital game interface is diverse too and varies from the traditional coin operated entertainment machines installed in public spaces such as video arcades to controller free consoles that track your body movement and recognise your face and voice through an array of sensors installed in one’s living room.en_GB
