Abstract: A rapid scenario generation tool has been developed to support the rapid prototyping and simulation of traffic movements and the generation of simulated traffic conflicts on the runway in flight simulation. It consists of three main components: a traffic motion generator, a scenario definition and control unit, and a dynamic traffic control unit. The features provided by these three components provide flexibility and scenario repeatability in a dynamic environment.
